Happy people live longer, have better immune systems and resist disease more effectively. Being joyful, then, is a direct path to being healthy.

And when we’re happy and healthy we make choices that continue to support that health and happiness–it’s a wonderful cycle that ripples out and inspires others to make happy, healthy choices.

To that end, we’d like to offer resources to reinforce and encourage you in your journey to leading a happy, healthy, love-filled life.

Quantum Physics and Distance Healing

Quantum physics has shown that at it’s very core, everything in the universe is made up of energy.  What appears to be solid–the chair, the table, your body–is actually tiny particles of energy moving at imperceptible speeds around empty space. At the quantum level, matter and energy are interchangeable.

Healing bodies through the movement of energy has been practiced for thousands of years by many Eastern cultures. Energy healing, or clearing, is becoming more and more appreciated in our Western culture and has been known to improve mental and physical health for many.

Holiday JOY Photo Shoot

The Holiday JOY Photo Shoot was fabulous! Even in freezing temperatures and rain.

Thank you Kate Singh for your amazing photographic talent, Veronika Noize for all your help and unending support, Carol McKeag and Patrick Mcgillivary for staying for hours and bringing goodies, Brian Larsen for setting up the easy-ups (life-saving easy-ups!) and Olga Lafayette for bringing us cayenne infused hot chocolate to keep us warm. And THANK YOU to everyone who came out in inclement weather to get their holiday photos of JOY!

Wondering what to do for your holiday greeting card this year? We’ve got you covered!

Join us on Sunday, November 21st from noon to 3 pm in the Hula Boy parking lot (12th and Washington) in Vancouver for the Holiday JOY Photo Shoot. The fabulous photog Kate Singh of Aevum Images will take a photo of YOU (free!) in front of the billboard. We’ll edit the image and email it to you so you so it can be printed and used as a totally unique holiday card, essentially creating a virtual billboard of joy from YOU.  Then you can spread holiday joy far and wide.

Spreading lots of joy!

The Joy Team debuted our first round of billboards promoting joy, optimism and inspiration in April. Those initial 8 were up for over 4 months; in fact, some of them are still up. With each billboard getting close to 15,000 impressions per day, we can confidently (and conservatively) say that, in conjunction with Clear Channel Outdoor Portland and four other sponsors, we added 13.3 million smiles to the Portland-Vancouver metro area from April to October. (Thank you SoHo Marketing Guru, Coaching for Life and Spirit, Stinger Communications, Roy & Skai McKeag and Clear Channel!)

Now we’re ready to do it again with our Holiday Joy Campaign!

Scheduled to go up the week of November 15 and stay up through the end of December, these big yellow billboards offer you the opportunity to do 3 wonderful things at once:

1. spread joy to the tune of 15,000 impressions a day for 6 weeks,
2. market your business / website, and
3. market your business / website for 6 weeks for less than $200!

As an extra bonus, you can gather your team in front of the billboard, take a photo, and use it as your holiday greeting card!

Don’t have a business but like the idea of spreading joy through billboards? You can give this as a gift to yourself or the person on your holiday list who has everything—except a billboard with their name on it.

We only have a few billboards left; and our deadline to reserve your space is Monday, October 25th.
